Over 19 years ago, my father and I owned a construction business, specializing in commercial and industrial design and remodeling. When my father decided to retire, I was given the wonderful opportunity to open my own company.

I thought about my years in commercial and industrial design and remodeling and I was grateful for all I had learned. And while I would never want to be completely away from that aspect of construction, when it came right down to it, what I really wanted to do was start a company where the majority of my work would be in interior design and home remodeling.

Without a residential client base to draw from, I started my company from scratch.  My initial projects involved changing out a leaky faucet, strapping a hot water heater and doing minor repairs.  In a sense, a handyman service.  It just happened I really was a General Contractor with six specialty licenses: B, HIC, C-6, C-10, C-17 and C-36. and performing handyman services. 

Eventually, in the following seventeen years, my client base grew by referrals and general word of mouth and so did the remodeling and repair projects.  Next came media centers, lofts, wet bars, decks, staircases, meditation rooms, crown mouldings and baseboard treatments, high end cabinetry, kitchen and bathroom remodels and window treatments.   I am proud to be a distributor of Milgard Windows, the best in the world, as well as a referred contractor from Trex Decks, a highly respected deck company. 

The best part of having my own company is that it is fun. I love shopping with my clients for project supplies, such as granite, tile and flooring; drawing project plans tailored to fit their dreams as well as their budgets; and offering my creative and professional advice when needed.
